Jette Rosendal Jette Rosendal graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark in 2002. In 2003 she was accepted into the soloist- performance class from which she graduated in November 2005 with this concert as her final performance.

She was a student of Dorthe Steengaard, associate professor Ulla Wang and associate professor Frode Stengaard. Furthermore professor Kirsten Buhl Møller of The Opera Academy of Copenhagen has taught her periodically. She has participated in master classes by acknowledged professors such as Judith Beckmann, Emma Kirkby, Lars Ulrik Mortensen and Roger Vignoles. Parallel with her studies in Aarhus she has been studying privately with Roger Vignoles in London together with pianist Maren Marie Tange.

In 2002-2003 Jette Rosendal was studying in London with professors Emma Kirkby, Hazel Wood and Roger Vignoles.

In 2002 she received the Mitra prize for upcoming talents in Silkeborg.

Jette Rosendal performs a comprehensive range of concerts. She has been a soloist with Randers Chamber Orchestra, The Jutland Sinfonietta, Aarhus Bach Company, Silkeborg Chamber Orchestra and many more. While studying she has sung the solo part in the Academy's production of The Creation by Haydn, The Requiem by Mozart and the title role in The Cunning little Vixen by Janacek.

In 2001 she performed in the Aarhus Summer Opera. She sang the leading role in Erik Bach's opera Olympia's Revenge. It was a demanding role as a singing violinist that was written especially for her!

She works regularly with several ensembles. Since 1994 she has formed a duo with pianist Maren Marie Tange. Other ensembles to mention are Cantica Consort, Duo with harpsichordist Colin Booth, U.K., Duo H.C. Andersen, Rosendal - Vinding - Rosendal and Terpsichoria, London.

Jette Rosendal has taken part in The Handel Competition, London 2005 and in Aarhus Summer Opera's song competition for young singers 2005.

Jette Rosendal In 2005 Jette Rosendal has published 2 CD's: One with Duo H.C. Andersen - a CD primarily with traditional Danish songs with lyrics by H.C. Andersen. The other one with Rosendal - Vinding - Rosendal. This CD is a mix between jazz and classical music and her brother Peter Rosendal has composed the songs.

Jette Rosendal is also a fully trained violinist graduated with distinction in 1999 from The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus. She was studying with professor Tutter Givskov. Also as a violinist she has given numerous of concerts and has published a CD with N. W. Gade's Capriccio. She still assists in professional orchestras.
